I enjoyed his session very much. I felt that the 2 hours went very fast and he kept my attention the entire time. It was serious, sad and funny. He has a lot of energy and is obviously passionate about helping others who are in a similar situation. What I found to be most interesting was that his story was so different from the typical addiction story of a lawyer: the stress of practicing and lifestyle of a lawyer leading to the addiction followed by their life and practice spiraling out of control. Brian was suffering from an addiction from a much younger age and never did lose his license or even face discipline.”
Brian answered all of our questions, whether technical or personal. I was moved by his honesty regarding the addictions that almost destroyed his life and his struggles to overcome it, even after he had been sober for a number of years.”
“I really appreciated the in-depth and frank discussion, beginning with his childhood, to explain how Brian developed his illnesses. Brian was a very dynamic speaker who quickly captured his audience’s interest and attention. I enjoyed his presentation and got a lot out of it.”
“Dear Brian, Thank you for sharing your powerful story with us at the Advanced Family Law Seminar in San Antonio. I heard so many great comments from our lawyers. Keep up the good work!”-Rick Robertson
Brian, when you came to Minnesota, your renown drew audiences to law school and CLE programs. Your message left people inspired and changed. You can get help. You can recover. It will get better. Thank you for partnering with our Lawyer Assistance Program to spread your experience, strength and hope. I wish every law student and lawyer could hear this.
We cannot thank you enough for sharing your story with us at The Jung Center’s Spring Benefit last night. To a person, everyone is raving about your honesty and insight. You really reached our audience, and you were just the perfect fit. Not only that, you were just lovely to work with.
