Tis the season. The season for law firm office parties. Pre-sobriety, these soirees were my perfect start to a night of booze and blow. Every holiday season, I get multiple invitations from law firms to end my sobriety on their dime. I’m joking of course. My recovery is my responsibility. The point being, that this can be a stressful time of the year for lawyers and law students in recovery or contemplating it.
My customer’s feedback and experience are the most important part of what I do and what motivates me to strive forward.
“We were thrilled that Brian shared his story with our firm, our clients, and the ACC Greater Philadelphia legal community. I am amazed by Brian’s candor, strength, and willingness to share his struggles with mental illness, substance abuse, and an eating disorder. His courage helps other lawyers to step forward and share their stories as well- building compassionate legal communities. Thanks again, Brian. We appreciate you!”-Lisa Goldstein
“Brian’s presentation at our annual CLE event was outstanding. I spoke with many of my colleagues after the presentation and all of them found that what Brian had to say was important, timely, and inspirational – I have no doubt there were people in that room who really needed to hear his story. I am so glad Brian was able to visit Columbus!”
“Brian shared his personal and moving story of addiction and recovery at our gala to support a new center for opioid recovery. We were also fortunate to have him speak to students and medical practitioners at the University of Pittsburgh the following day. Brian is a dynamic speaker with a riveting story that resonates easily with every audience. Brian has a powerful message that needs to be heard.”
